The establishment of the Master of Dental Medicine Study Program (PS MIKG) began in 1998 with a study period of 4 semesters and until now has produced graduates who are spread throughout Indonesia and work in accordance with their fields of knowledge. The permit for the implementation of PS MIKG at Trisakti University is in accordance with the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education No. 370/DIKTI/Kep/1998 dated October 14, 1998. In facing competition in the era of globalization, both in the fields of information, industry and health services, there is no other way except by improving the quality of human resources, especially in the field of Dentistry. Since 2021 PS MIKG has 2 (two) specializations, namely Specialization in Dental and Oral Health Service Management and Basic and Clinical Dentistry. These two elements are a complete unit. If the provision of dental services encounters a problem that cannot be solved with the available knowledge and experience, the answer can be sought through Dentistry. Conversely, Dentistry must be able to provide guidance on actions that should be taken in providing dental services. The instructions are obtained through scientific knowledge that is already available or through new knowledge resulting from scientific research on problems found and not yet solved by dental services.In the last decade, there has been a trend in international dentistry to further enhance the understanding of Basic and Clinical Dentistry and Oral Health Service Management. This is necessary because of the need to obtain answers to clinical problems that require research. In connection with this, one of the objectives of PS MIKG FKG Usakti is to become a research center by developing resources and an academic climate that can support research work to produce science and technology and innovative scientific work in the field of dentistry.
This study program presents 38 credits and a length of study of 4 semesters. The implementation of education prioritizes independence including group discussions, laboratory work, seminars, journal reading, publication of scientific papers, research and thesis.

New Student Selection of Master of Dental Medicine Study Program :
    The recruitment system for Master of Dental Medicine Study Program participants is in accordance with the Trisakti University Education Implementation Guidelines as follows:

    Administrative Requirements, prospective participants must submit:

• A copy of the diploma of Bachelor of Dentistry / dentist / bachelor of health science graduate from an accredited domestic university.
• For overseas graduates, submit a copy of the diploma of Bachelor of Dentistry / dentist abroad that has been authorized by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.
• Pass the Academic Potential Test, skills test and journal review test.
• TOEFL result with a minimum score of 500.
• Certificate of good health and no color blindness.
• Recommendations from lecturers, direct supervisors.
