Remarks by the Head of Study Program
One of the challenges in answering the needs of human resources in the field of oral health in Indonesia is to produce professionally qualified graduates who are able to make a concrete contribution to improving the quality of dental and oral health of the Indonesian people.
One of the ways to improve human resources is to anticipate the arrival of foreign experts from abroad to replace less skilled workers. Faculty of Dentistry Trisakti University (FKG Usakti) as an educational institution is responsible for improving the quality and quantity of human resources. Based on this, the Faculty of Dentistry Trisakti University organizes the Master of Dental Medicine Study Program (PS MIKG).
Since the first time PS MIKG was organized, we have always been committed to organizing education with international standards while still guided by the Indonesian Dentist Competency Standards, resulting in a comprehensive and high-quality curriculum with measurable outcomes. In addition, it is no less important that the implementation of PS MIKG education is supported by very adequate facilities and infrastructure, laboratories with sophisticated and modern equipment and qualified teaching staff who are recognized at home and abroad.
PS MIKG annually always strives to improve the education system and curriculum which is adjusted to follow technological changes in the world of dentistry and mouth. We prioritize a persuasive approach to students by cultivating research and community service, so that students are expected to have high analytical skills, critical thinking, creativity and be able to answer future world challenges that still have a free but directed spirit and high confidence, as future leaders.
The ultimate goal of the implementation of this PS MIKG is the achievement of success in producing: graduates who are devoted to God Almighty and are able to show a religious attitude and uphold human values in carrying out duties based on religion, morals, ethics, discipline and law; graduates with the ability to research professionally with national, regional and international insight in analyzing oral health problems; qualified graduates who can work as lecturers / educators, researchers, laboratory experts, managers / managers of research centers or laboratories and as bureaucrats who can determine educational or research policies related to dentistry related to certain institutions.
